The Invisalign Lite uses the same process and technique as Invisalign’s (Full) option but has a restriction on the number of aligners that can be manufactured to make the planned corrections. For this reason, it is used to treat less severe problems than Invisalign (Full).

Invisalign braces are a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that you change every two weeks for the next set of aligners. The brace is worn for up to 22 hours in a day and is only removed for cleaning. Each aligner is individually manufactured for your teeth, and your teeth only. As you replace each aligner, your teeth will move, little by little, week by week, until they have straightened to the final position.

The Invisalign brace is made from clear plastic – no wires, plates or brackets which makes cleaning much easier to do. They are fabricated using the latest dental technologies and are designed to fit snugly and smoothly over your teeth.

Case Suitability

Invisalign Lite is cheaper and typically faster treatment than the full Invisalign, for less severe complicated cases.

This brace is best suited for the following:

• Mild crowding
• Small gaps between teeth
• Teeth starting to drift
• Smile alignment
• Some tipped and rotated teeth
• Relapse after previous orthodontic treatment
• Pre-treatment before cosmetic dental work in some cases
(implants, bridges, crowns, fillings)
